Many people think that having success in direct sales takes a long time. Or worse, they’re scared to take quick action when they join a direct sales business.
What does it really take to make this business work, fast? How CAN you have quick success in direct sales?
Today I interviewed a Rock Star in my own team. Her name is Haley Ormsby. A busy mom of 2, Haley joined our company just TWO short months ago.
Since then, she has created immediate success. She has built a customer base and even sponsored several distributors onto her team. I asked her a few questions and she shares her answers below.
How to Have Quick Success in Direct Sales
Why did you decide to join SeneGence?
I’m a stay-at-home mom.. I have been for 4 years. I hit a rut and a bit of depression because I was feeling like that was all I was… “a mom”.
And although being a mom is my most favorite thing in this world, I needed something more. Something to give me a boost of confidence while making extra money. And SeneGence does exactly that.
Many people who are new to direct sales are hesitant to share their business opportunity. How did you sponsor several people your first month?
All of the women that joined my team were first customers and they absolutely loved the products. So, I started offering the choice to join me as a distributor to every single one of my customers.
I made sure to tell them all of the benefits of becoming a distributor (the discounts, certified makeup artist program, SeneCar (the car lease reimbursement program), the trips, the SeneSisterhood, & the limitless growth potential).
What’s your big goal with your business?
My big goal with my business is to grow a team full of determined, driven women. (Love this!)
What are your top 5 tips for women in direct sales who also want quick success?
1. Don’t give up!
There will be times you feel like you’re “not cut out” for this business. That’s when it’s time to look at what you’re doing and learn a new skill or strategy.
2. Be consistent and show up every single day!
You are your own boss, so YOU determine your future success. You get out what you put in.
3. Be open to learning.
If your up line isn’t very helpful – FIND SOMEONE WHO IS. Learn from ones who have already made the mistakes. Take advice. Go to training events. Watch training on YouTube. Whatever you do, just keep learning about the business and ways to improve yours.
What is your favorite thing about your business?
My absolute favorite things about direct sales is that I determine what my paycheck is. I determine what my hours are. And I determine how far I want to grow with my company.
